Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning

This is a fitting send-off for likely the greatest action-movie franchise of all time. Although the movie takes too long to get going, with nearly 1/3rd of the movie being exposition, each of the set pieces are insane and ratchet up the tension well beyond where you think they'd peak.

The final climax (and knowing that Tom was actually doing these stunts) is an insane and stunning amount of spectacle. The movie has too many convieniences, but this is par for the course for MI (much like the mention of family, in a different franchise)

This isn't my favourite mission team, but Benji, Grace and Ethan hold it together. I'd have loved to see folks like Brandt (Jeremy Renner) or Jane return, but I did welcome some of the new faces.

While this movie doesn't come close to the incredible trio of Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation and Fallout, it is still a worthy addition to the franchise.
